snow covered glory in the photos I’ve assembled here for your enjoyment.
All of these pictures were taken within either a few steps of or no further than a stone’s throw of our front door.
After all it is winter here in the Yukon, and beauty can be found in any direction I choose to look from that front door.
Speaking of winter, it’s been a real roller-coaster of one for us this time around that looks like it’s going to continue its strange dance for a bit longer.
We had another short but fierce blizzard here this morning in mild temperatures that quickly dumped about an inch of fresh snow on all that beautiful scenery outside the door.
But it was only a prelude to the sudden temperature drop down to -25
Celsius that’s scheduled to move in for an overnight stay, before another precipitous climb back up to zero and dinky -1 temps again.
But as long as it doesn’t move above zero and stay there for any extended period of time, we’ll get to experience many more images of winter touch undergrowth with snow covered glory in the few months of winter still left to us.
